The heat pump double cylinder WP-DF
combines two buffer tanks in one. The
upper cylinder is designed for heating
domestic hot water/drinking water with
a fresh water station FWS (not included
in the scope of delivery) and achieves a
high hot water output even at low flow
line temperatures. The integrated layer
separating plate prevents the hot water
in the upper part of the cylinder from
mixing with the colder water in the
lower part. Thus, the already heated
zone in the upper section remains
stable for hot water preparation. The
lower buffer cylinder is hydraulically
completely separate from the upper
cylinder and can therefore be operated
with very low flow line temperatures. It
also acts as a hydraulic separator for
the heating circuits and is suitable for
both heating and cooling operation.
This reduces the cycle times of the heat
pump, which leads to greater operational
reliability. This compact heat pump
system cylinder enables energy-saving
and efficient domestic hot water
preparation as well as efficient heating
operation with very low flow line
temperatures, which significantly
reduces power consumption.
Both cylinders are equipped with
connections for an electric heating
element, which can be used for emergency
heating or to use excess PV power.
The 75 mm PU rigid foam insulation
minimises energy losses and maximises
efficiency.
