Modulating electrothermal heating
station with 9 kW output for efficient
use of photovoltaic surplus, suitable
for buffer storage tanks and domestic
hot water tanks. Compact hydraulic unit
with integrated power measurement,
measures the fluctuating PV current
independently via supplied current
clamps, no connection to inverter, meter
or external control required. Continuous
power modulation from 0 - 9,000 watts,
target temperature control (up to 70 °C)
and intelligent storage charging
management ensure optimal heat supply.
With this heating station, the storage
tank can be heated 100% from bottom to
top – unlike heating rods, which only
heat the upper area and therefore cannot
utilise the entire storage capacity.
A constant target charging temperature
enables efficient, stratified charging
of the storage tank. A premium solution
for retrofitting existing heating and PV
systems, it stores excess electrical
energy as heat in the storage tank.
Optimises self-consumption, reduces grid
consumption, serves as additional or
emergency heating and as reliable
support for heat pumps. Expandable with
external heating elements in modulating
operation up to 36 kW, e.g. three 9 kW
heating rods that can be controlled via
a site-provided contactor. Various
additional functions complement the
system and offer flexible application
options.
