Antifreeze valve 1 1/4" AG for heat pump systems

Frost protection valve made of brass for
protection of heat pumps against frost
damage in the event of faults or power
failures. The frost protection valve is
installed outside the building in the
flow and return of the system. It should
be installed as close as possible to the
outdoor unit of the heat pump to protect
the sensitive components from damage
caused by freezing medium. If the
temperature of the medium in the system
falls to 3 °C, the thermostatic element
inside the valve opens the flow to the
outside, to prevent damage. If the
temperature of the medium rises above 4°C,
the thermostatic element automatically
closes the water flow out of the system.
Before recommissioning only the system
pressure needs to be checked, heating
water topped up if necessary topped up
and the system vented.
