Sizing of membrane pressure expansion vessels

A requirement for the trouble-free functioning of the heating system or a solar heating system is the correct dimensioning of the size and the correct setting of the inlet pressure of the expansion vessel. The pre-pressure of the expansion vessel as delivered must not be used without checking, but must be adjusted carefully for the respective system.

Warning:
The pre-pressure of the expansion vessel has always to be checked and adjusted in the pressureless operating state of the heating system!
